Frame Dropping due to Stockcar's from Trainz Forge.

Has anyone been playing TRS 22 and downloaded the Harriman Stockcar's from Trainz Forge suddenly have their frame rates on the game drop? Cause I did realize the Yorkshire Pig asset was faulty and I didn't want to deal with downloading basically a faulty asset and removed it from the boxcar's dependencies and now my game is lagging when it was fine and dandy before.

Do let us know if that solved the issue. I was wondering if it is exclusive to one route and/or whether you've recently installed SP5?
Well I think the Stockcar with getting rid of the Yorkshire Pig asset from the dependencies, but the game still lags on all routes, and I think I did install SP5. But uninstalling it did nothing and now I am trying to clean unused content I don't use.

I'm experiencing quite a bit of lag and I think it's down to the fact that SP5 removes the 'Process Objects Behind Camera' option. I usually had that off. Now it's forced to stay on (the option exists in game but if you un-check it and return to the setting it's still checked).

Thanks Paul, it's just immensely frustrating When it had been working fine and now it feels we got to make a lot of noise just to get them to fix it.

It won't be 'fixed'. I think the feature has gone since SP5 but they accidentally left the option (that doesn't work) within the in-game settings.

Lagging can also occur if the assets are being cached. You can see if this is occurring by looking at the very top of the screen. If you see Precaching content or something like that in very faint text, then this is what's happening. This is extra overhead while the session is running and one more thing to slow down the operation.

I noticed that SP5 is extremely precaching heavy and does that more often than older versions did.

Well The thing is that it's even doing it on the lowest settings too.

I would check for caching of data. As that's running, it's doing things in the background and eating resources.
Click on the 3-bar menu found in the upper left corner.
Choose show Launcher, or whatever it's called.
On the Launcher, click on Clear client logs and then Show client Logs.

You should see stuff scrolling by including validating assets. If you definitely see validating assets with a bunch of text, then this is what's going on.

I’ve had a look at the logs and there seems to be a lot going on. Is that meant to be the case?
Lots of validating messages appearing one after another. If you check Task Manager by pressing CTRL-SHIFT-ESCAPE, and then click on the performance icon on the left, you'll see the hard disk activity pegged at 100% or lots of activity as this is occurring. On my system, I use regular hard disks and the TRS22 is 100% unusable until this process is completed. If I'm driving, there are stutters if Precaching appears at the top of the screen.

Also J, the Disk activity is low on my end IIRC, though the CPU can get pretty worked up.

I did notice how for months when playing the game, the fan was working hard, but it's get hard worked when playing for 15 to nearly an hour straight.

NVMe Disk at 2%, GPU at 38%, CPU at 14% and memory at 46%. There's not a lot of maxing out going on and yet I'm getting about 15fps on my route.

I do have a constant message appearing in the logs, multiple times per second, saying "NamedObjectTable> Object tile mismatch..." which mentions the same named item.
