Having the facilities doesn't mean squat if you don't have the money to build anything. It's been said already that Strasburg has enough on their hands to worry about any large "mainline" steam engines. Besides, I thought those Class 1s up north didn't want any steamers "dirtying up their tracks."

strasburg should run 90 with trains from strasburg to altoona and altoona to strasburg via PRR main line.

I don't know but money & time is tight right now, so the best I can tell you is that we have to wait & see what happens from now,but I for one am not ruling out the possibility for it not to run!

errr...wrongo. The PRR sadly does not exist, has not existed since the 1960's it became the PennCentral and it is now Norfolk southern or CSXT.

what it started as PRR, then, Penncentral,conrail until conrail break up in 99. and now NS. Besides ns had a steam program once with the 4501,1218, and 611.

up runs the 844 and 3985 they should lease the 1522 to up steam team so they can have a third locmotive if 844 or 3985 where out of service.
