Freight Train speed problem for Nr.7 Amtrak Express Train on Marias Pass

I am having trouble trying to get the Nr.7 Amtrak 'Empire Builder' to reach the correct Express train speeds, on my own scenario, using the Base scenario as the starting point. I have included the same consist as comes with the 'built-in scenario', put the same Driver in the cab, and ensured that I had him set for Express Passenger running, but NO WAY can I get it to go at anything but the Freight Train speed.
Is there anyone who can tell me what the problem is . . . please.

Does the line that you are driving on have a speed limit? AI drivers aren't stupid, just troublesome at times. With correct signalling, driver commands and speed limits they perfrom just fine.

Well, the thing is, this line has different speed limits for freight and passenger, and he is saying that the train runs at the freight speed when it is a passenger train.

The line has different speeds but were they set up in your session? Some of these dual speed signs need to be set at the start of a new session as they are not part of the map settings.

FWIW, I just tried doing something similar myself, and I can confirm that the issue exists. Even with a full passenger train, with a pair of Amtrak diesels pulling it, assigned as Express Passenger type, I still get the freight speed limits.

I thank you all for replying, but '64Warhorse' is right on the button. The 'Base' scenario in MPRX that I am using has all the signals and dual speed signs in place already. Driving the train itself makes no difference to what the Speed limit is shown as. I have even removed the included speed signs and re-installed them, but the problem remains the same. Sure you can drive the train faster but I want it setup as an AI train and drive various other tains in the opposing direction. The HP Team chaps seem to get it to work in their scenario, not sure what they have done. :o

The answer to My problem is: 'Delete the Driver Speed Rule, in the Session Editor, then add it in again in the same location, then Check your appointed Driver is set for Express Passenger Trains. Then all is good to go. These instructions came from Joseph Pav, of HP Trainz - it worked immediately.
