My mom just bought me a Dell Diminson E520 today! I got the $499 Model with: a Pentium D Processor with 3Ghz, Windows Vista Basic (Vista is all that comes with this computer now), a 15 inch analog flat panel, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB Hard Drive, a 48x CD-Rom/DVD Player, an intagrated Sound Blaster Audigy Version and an 256MB ATI Radeon X1300 Pro. I want to know what my average frames will be in Trainz. Also is this a good purchise?

Not on the E520 There was: Vista Basic, Vista office, and Vista fully loaded. No XP (There was another Vista Option but I can't remember it)

Dell are configuring all computers with XP-Pro on request at time of purchace, because of the adverse effect Vista is having on their sales
I just bought two systems from Dell, for myself and my son and I told them at the outset I would not buy unless XP was installed and they told me it was now available on any of their systems. Also here in UK we can return the system if not happy with it so I suggest you contact them and try to exchange it for a non Vista system.
