Four-Car Pile-Up! [This is a Test]

This is actually a test of the "Host Then Post" to make sure I can actually post images on this forum. I took this screen cap a while back when I opened a layout I was working on in Surveyor and became aware of a lot of honking horns...I followed the sound and discovered this four-car pile-up had developed where the green car was holding up everyone behind him and causing them to honk their horns! After a little while, it unclogged on its own. It was a curious glitch made amusing by the horns!

Assuming this works, you will see the image below...

The image was a success! I see it fine.

Your example is exactly why I turn off road traffic when I'm in Surveyor. I don't need the distraction of honking horns while I'm trying to place track or signals.

Could be a solution to city centre street parking problems.

Stack them together like supermarket trolleys :D(shopping carts in the USA I believe).

I've seen that a quite a few times. I figured it was somone tying up the roads while they're texting or on the cell phone.

The stacking part is weird. I've seen that at crossings when I've tied up the crossing for too long.

The road system really needs to be improved, intersections are particular problem. If you place an intersection near a grade crossing all hell will break lose. I caused about a 15 car pileup while I blocked the road for 5 minutes switching......

I see nothing to criticize in your screenie, Curmudgeon. But, then, I spent a serious number of years driving in San Francisco :hehe:.

Or in my case, in Boston area. :hehe:

That wasn't someone on a cell phone causing this because that would be a fancy sports sedan or SUV. This being a station wagon, it's an old fart tying up the traffic. ;)

I let a Texas 2-10-4 sit for 5 mins. at a grade crossing near a intersection and there was like 18 cars behind each other.
