For those experiencing issues with downloading using TDH/CM after the server transfer

TRS2006 Non-FCT
I even tryed deleting the Assets.tdx, and even the Assets.bku...The database seemed to repair and update. But the asset "Ready" notice is aways there, and the asset "Search" never takes place. The bogus error notice "server is full" persists. DLS is not working. I seriously doubt that the server is full.

That was sooooo, Refreshing...AHHHHhhhhh !
I think I'm going to purchase a lifetime FCT, as the download speed is in excess of 330Kbs ! Without a FCT I was getting @ 5Kbs or much less. If I purchase a FCT under TRS2006, does it carry forward, and work, should at a later date, I purchase TS10 ?

You should be able to access the DLS. Your account at this end is showing as being correct.
Please try doing the refresh, and database repair, again. Please also try changing the connection settings in Content Manager to either 'no proxy server' or 'use internet explorer settings'.

Yes, the FCT will work for any editions of Trainz that you have registered to your account, that have DLS access.

downloading from DLS
In case it helps those who are sorting this out: I was downloading from the DLS into TS2010 yesterday when it stopped half way through, and nothing made it work again. I then tried to download into TS 2009, but that wouldn't work either.
Today, I followed the procedure explained above, and after completing the extended database repair, TS2010 would download again. However, TS2009 also needed the procedure before it would also download.

I'm running TRS 2006 with SP1 and a 31 day FCT. The FCT is now down to 22 days and I still can't download a thing. Have tried all your suggestions but to no avail. I can get assets to the download helper and it starts to download 0.00kps then it goes to 0.00bps then it just sits. Any ideas?

I am finding that a FCT has great speed (330Kbs) vs (3.57Kbs Non-FCT) and I will be purchasing a Lifetime FCT soon...as well as TS10.

cmp downloads 2006-2009 and classic
cmp download station is causing me to seriously think of DUMPING trainz, and will do if support of programs bought with my hard cash ceases! Most downloads (approx 46%) are faulty in one way or have RED or YELLOW warning tabs! So much for buying a download ticket!!!

Most assets that contain easy to fix errors and faults, are extremely simple to fix. That is why people on the forum help each other, with locating missing asssets, to help you. Some are caused by one small typographical or mispleeling <--- error in a config file. Example: (My speelchucker iz buzted). Some of the finest creators are from countries that do not use the English language, so mispleelings occur from tyme to tyme.

Downloading is now lighning fast in TRS2006, and I am saving copies of all my downloads to an external hard drive, and saving as CDP's, just in case I need to retrieve them at a later date

The Download station is back and for me it is running a cool 10.9Kb a second for me even with out a FCT. Thanks Auran.

I found that DLS works but about 40 mins after running it it went back to being stuck at the start of downloading an asset with zero bytes or kbps downloading. So I exitted CMP and dbouole clicked on the Launcher. The little hour glass came up next to the mouse pointer for a bit the hard drive crunched away then nothing. I found that I can't run the launcher it appears in the processes tab in task manager but it wont actually run.
So again another full re install of the product maybe that might fix it.......... second reinstall in as many days.
Very dissapointed Auran, good thing i didn't spend the money on an FCT coz I wouldn't be able to use it if i did.

Don't deleate your game, all you have to do is just shut down your computer overnight and the next day try again, (It happens to me every now and then, freezes, i just exit out and shut down my computer, and then the next day it works). Try it and see what happens, I'll bet it will work.
