Are moderators able to delete users? and if so does that mean they would be removed from the planet auren community listing?

Weird question I know, but I have an old user ID I cant log in as I messed up the email :'( and would like it to be removed.

Well specifically the details for planet Auren as I made my details public by accident :'(.

Just wondered if any one has experience of this could help.

This has been stated on numerous occasions, but for those who missed it, I shall repeat it. The position of moderator is not a popularity vote, nor is it a position you ask for. A moderator is APPOINTED by Auran. Auran asks you if you wish to be a moderator and you either accept or decline.

The person who Auran will more likely look for is not someone who posts a "vote for me" or "John.D.Citizen for moderator" post.

does anybody know who started this whole vote for moderator thing in the 1st place?

Boco resigned (but he is now active once more. thanks for coming back Boco to end this), and Zwab started a thread to go for mod, but got banned on the same thread that me and WCL got banned over. So Boco came back to close the thread, and that ended the whole "vote for insert name here for forum moderator" thing. i aprreciate Boco coming back, as it ended all the chaos.

if this forum had a hard drive (which it doesn't, thankfully), then those voting threads would take up about, hmm, lemme calculate, about 3 quarters of it.
