looks like you got hacked.. change your password for trainz, your Email address and your internet browser(if its Google)

Could be a hardware issue.

What do you mean by "routes are fluorescent pink and blue"? Do you mean the coloured strips on each route thumbnail when selecting the routes to load from the Surveyor/Driver screen?
i have a add showing up for opera GX
Where is this add appearing? In your browser?

At the very least I would run a full virus and malware scan before I did anything else.

I had this happen when I tried to change some settings under advanced dev or graphic tools or something to some settings someone recommended. I ended up having to revert everything back to original settings.

i haven't touched anything. the most radical thing i did was was merge three routes together and went to bed. there is a note "please note that one or more developer settings are active ,which may negatively impact gameplay"
i have no idea what that means.
i changed the shader value that jcitran forwarded to me and that worked for the layers. i really do not mess with that stuff since it is way above me.
as for the Opera GX it seems it is probably part of google and is basically for gaming. i have nothing to do with this.it generally appears after i close out of say trainz forums or whatever i might be in at the time. my son is a IT and he is looking into this and coreweb which is part of google. i looked it up since it would not let me check my banking.
back to the original problem i never have messed with the dev since i really do not know anything about that part of trainz.
thanks for the help, sorry about the double post.

sorry pware i didn't mean to ignore. there is no color with all the assets except pink and teal?. you can see the assets, sort of, but they are fluorescent in nature.
thank you

Not being ignored. Different tme zones usually cause long delays in replies.

If it is only Trainz that is showing this colour issue then, as suggested above, it is probably a display setting issue either in Trainz or, less likely, your GPU.

You didn't by chance touch one of the settings in the Dev tab under Trainz settings on the Launcher?

If you went into the Dev tab and changed the Debug render to something other than None, you will end up with Cyan and Magenta.

As far as giving you advice for merging, I would never have you touch this.

"please note that one or more developer settings are active ,which may negatively impact gameplay"
Is a message that appears if a critical display or performance setting has been changed. That, plus the explanation given by @JCitron above, is the most likely cause of your colour issues.

i checked the debug and it is engaged
Not sure what you mean by "engaged". I have never changed my Debug Render setting to anything over than "None".

Also check the Compatibility Mode setting in the same window - it should be set to "Maximise compatibility".

you are correct john.
it is now "max compatibility" and "debug render none" i haven't checked everyting but i did notice the freshly merged route has no assets. i'll work on it
i appreciate all the help on this problem you guys are what makes trains great and of course the asset creators
thanks again

Merging routes is full of pitfalls. See the Trainz Wiki Page at How_to_Merge_Routes for a few of them and their solutions.

If the assets do not reappear then I would recommend doing a DBR (DataBase Repair) - select Rebuild Database from the Developer menu of the Trainz Launcher or Content Manager.

it is a pain to get the route to line up the way you want. too bad we can't rotate them. I will try what you say even though one of the three routes isn't exactly where i wanted.
part of the gam.
thanks again for the help
