Floating Containers

Hello,

I have need of assistance in adjusting the attachment points on the TTX NSC double stack well cars <kuid:338228:1234> as some of the top container loads float above the 20ft containers on the bottom. Only seems to occur with the 20ft. I have a screenshot but can't attach it.

I am a novice to attachment points and adjusting cargoes in TANE, I assume I will have to use the config.txt, so details please. Thank You.

I have the problem also, whether in TS10, 12, or TANE. Despite looking on this forum and anywhere else looking for an answer I found no real solutions(Except for I need the latest containers from Jointed Rail. ) That was not my problem? Except for not using the 20' containers I found no solution at the time. What I did was add an extra line to mesh config file. I did it for each one, I think there are 5? It's not always perfect but for me it was a solution, and I see no more annoying gaps. Only alter the files(Both 20' containers) if you're comfortable!
I pasted this as an example. You can play with the height till you're satisfied.

I should have noted above the reason for altering container and not rail car was due to problems with other well cars and 20' containers.

That fixed the problem on the one car type, but broke the well cars I use from JR and others. So I tried to be more specific with your fix, I cloned the 20' container and edited the config file as you suggested and added a B to the description to help ID it. I then cloned the car to test and in the config.txt searched and replaced the kuid's for the JR 20' containers, loaded and unloaded, with my cloned and modified B units. It worked, so I modified the original cars. This made your fix specific to those units.
 
I found that the 53 Containers US and CAN are the source of the issues with the floating or smashed cars, so I removed them as loads in the config files for the cars.
 
Glad you figured it out. Sorry you had to do the extra work, but you fixed your problem and in this crazy game that's all that counts?
