Me! me ! please...lets have a fight and bicker thread then, where people can go argue and bicker and whoever wants to get involved can. The moderators can throw threads in there too that get out of hand and go off the topic, and the bicker can continue there and trainzers who want to can go see who wins .:hehe:

Don't laugh, that's actually a good idea. A large message board on which I regularly participate did just that - they called it the "Dump" - and it actually did draw a fair number of flamewars out of other threads. And flamewars are a daily occurrence on that forum.

Ironic that the OP would start a thread on flame wars, having had a far higher than average number of their own threads locked.

That aside, sadly what is typed in jest on a forum may not translate in jest at the other end. Text messages can have the same effect, being completely misconstrued by the receipient. I should know, it almost caused my marriage never to happen. Oops.

Seeing as quite a few people are still making personal comments/attacks (Rather than discussing the topic iteself), I think this one needs to be closed.

Discussion is fine, however making personal comments/attacks is not appropriate.
