fixed for later game cdps? how to find them

hi all

maybe this should be an auran question,

how can i find out which items have been fixed by the community to run in 2009-2010?

maybe auran could put up a sticky with what has been fixed

unfortunately i am totally useless at fixing things in cm3

i get more broken after trying to fix them

hopefully someone has an answer

This is being worked on, all content creators with faulty content got an email with a list to fix and today I got a thank you and a note that a public list of content that need fixing will be up soon so that they can be fixed by us.

i have a similiar question i guess (might not bed). in cm, an asset will show having an update....how do you get the update?

If you are using Content Manager, simply drag the asset that is reporting an update is available onto the Download Helper panel. It should then pick up that there is an update available, and add it into the list ready to download when you click Start.

It's OK. There are quite a few hidden tricks in Content Manager.

i cant drag anything to anywhere as my games pc is never online to the net.

that's why i asked about people like me that cant use the cm search function

i know i'm not the only one like this

I'm pretty sure that an internet connection is one of the minimum requirements for Trainz.

The other option is to use the DLS black pages on another system to download the updated packs via FTP (the black pages version should give you the latest version anyway, if it does not, check the asset history (which should be available as a link).

Only for the purposes of registration, and that doesn't have to be done from the computer that has Trainz installed; as all you need to register the game is the CD key.

I understand where Ron is coming from, as for the first year or two that I owned Trainz, i did not have an internet connection, so was unable to register my first version (Trainz 1.3, still not registered!); and was also unaware of the DLS, and great forum that existed for this game.

Actually, there are more parts of Trainz that require internet just to work properly...

Take Itrainz Chat and the Iportal for example - they require Internet to work to their best.

Content Manager also uses the Internet for uploading and downloading assets.

i do know abbout ftp as that is what i use

i just cant see any later version,
thats if i can get onto the dls at all
