Find Objects not working ?

Hello; I have TRS 10 and 12 on my computer at the moment and I wanted to locate a track mark on a route in 2010. but when I clicked on the " find object " icon at the top of screen it didn't do anything. I seem to remember using this feature when I had TRS 06 on my computer and you clicked on a list that popped up,and it would take you to the industry or location you selected, but nothing happens when I do It in TRS10. I looked at TRS12 and I opened the " Find Object " from a drop down list. Is this something i can fix in TRS10 ? or can someone just tell me what is wrong ?
thanks... Allen

Yea it is on the drop down menu in TRS12 but in TRS10 it is an icon at the top of the screen, but it doesn't seem to do anything when i select it.
so I'm wondering if there is just something wrong with mine or is this something that is fixable.

In TS10 'Find Object' is definitely a menu option. The third icon along is the content search filter, an entirely different beast....

At build 44088 the 3rd icon is the find object, the main menu only has options, acheivements, exit driver, exit game and help. It may have altered in higher builds though.

I spend more of my life than is healthy in 44088 -

The build. on my TRS10 is 49933 and my list of things at the top of the page when in drivers mode is:
main menu/ pause / save game / metric or imperial display / "Find Object" / and then on screen help.

Check the KUID of your version in Content Manager - I've been reliably informed by the creators that the KUIDs shown in bold are not problematic.

You could make a cdp of the 2 assets, save then delete from cm. Close trainz down, wait a minute or 2 then restart. If the find objects problem persists re install the cdp's, if it's ok at least you'll know what caused it.
I have neither of those 2 assets in 2010 but this doesn't mean they are at fault.
