ElectroMotive Diesel locomotives are as reliable as a rusty nail.
(Not to be confused with the original EMD, which was perfectly fine pre-ACe days)
I honestly hear way more stories about SD70ACe/SD70m-2 units failing compared to GE units.

To my understanding, everything after the SD60 has been junk. Including 80mACs, which is why it took CSX so long to bring them out of storage.

Anything after the SD50 is junk. So, I'm not surprised by this move.

Gensets second place compared to what? I have yet to hear a positive review of a genset, just ask any engineer if they would like a GP38 or a genset to switch with.....bet there will be zero votes for these pos.
