fatal error window

Can anyone help?When i load Trainz, i get a window up saying fatal error.

It says:

A fatal error has occurred

description

class:hardware
reason:breakpoint
Exception @ 0036df4d in C/program files/auran/trs2004/bin/kernelstandard.dll

Recoverblenexception:yes

Hope someone can help.

Do you have the latest drivers for your videocard, sound card, and motherboard as well as DirectX?

yes, its been workingfine for months upto today

Fatal Error TRS2004

This happened to me some time ago & I was advised to Right click the TRS2004 file & go to Properties. This brings a choice of 3 boxes & if you go to the right one try changing - Compability mode to Windows98 & it worked for me. Just a suggestion but worth a try. I was locked out for almost a month when it happpened to me. John
