Extreme Trainz Site

I wasn't trying to promote it, it is just a little website where I have a few links to places.

Steve, he was asking people not to promote his old web ring site, not your site.:D I think you have the right attitude, there's more than one Trainz site offering freeware, and more than one offering payware, so there can certainly be more than one that tells people where these sites are!

Carry on!:)

Nah, no reason to feel bad, I'm sure he understands the confusion. Anyway, instead of a Pokémon joke in your sig, you should whip up a banner, and embed your site's link. Unless you don't want people to visit...:o

Hi Steve,

Sorry about the confusion. I was responding to the post by American Connections;

Quote: And the Trainz hub and you call it has not been undated thre several years still! The Trainz community web ring is not even monitored anymore I don't think! if what is there no longer exists or functions, then what is wrong with a new try! This is called free enterprise.

I just didn't want you to add it to your list. You'll see the logo on many of the Trainz sites you visit, so please just ignore it. Most of the sites listed in the web ring don't exist any more.

I wish you well in your venture. My site has become a labour of love. I spend at least 5 hours a day working on it so I know how hard it is to start a project like this. My only advice to you if you allow me to offer it, is to check every page of every site before you post a link. There are some that are just a waste of everyone's time.

Thanks Euphod. I really am sorry my post came over that way. As you stated, that was NOT my intention.

. . . and what you see is merely a drop in the bucket! Seriously, thanks for the nice compliment Steve, it's been a long exercise, but I've enjoyed every moment. Hopefully by year's end it will be almost finished. That's if it doesn't finish me first. I have to say that I am excited about being able to include foreign language sites with English translation. Some of the best sites out there are in Spanish or Italian, but shortly we'll be able to read them thanks to Google Translate.

Thanks again steve.
