ex-railwayman's screenshot emporium....

It's ANZAC weekend down-under, and I thought I'd show some more screenies of the superb models on display from our friends in Oz, far too many to mention individually, but thank you all for creating such wonderful Trainz toys....LOL
Be on the lookout for a special diesel loco....Never before seen in daylight.
My thankz to Muliebuck for his route NSWGR Pine Ridge, which was used in the making of this special Trainz Production.

Thanks to Photobucket for the free image hosting.

Thank you ishie and titaniclover, sorry Adam, you snuck in a little comment when I wasn't looking.....:hehe:

hmmm, I'm in a bit of a dilema now, 'cos the latest ones have disappeared for whatever reason, photobucket has done this to me before...:'(
So, I'm unsure if I can carry on now, I may have to abandon things as they stand...

Enjoy the ones you CAN see folks, don't know if there will be any more.

Will do enjoy the screenies ... :D

On a side note I've used photo bucket for years and never a problem .... Perhaps they have a limit on how many screen shots you can upload?

I normally delete old screen shots that will no longer serve a purpose!!

Hello All, well I've had a little break, and have now decided to endeavour with my thread, and hopefully fingers crossed Photobucket will behave itself.....LOL
My screenies today are taken from a beautifully detailed route off the DLS by harcourt, entitled Yorkshire Plains, and covers just a small area of this combined British layout including others by lielestosbrat and gamerouche, it is for both diesel and electric traction....Enjoy...

EDIT : Screenies disappeared, so nothing now to show, sorry....

ex-railwayman's screenshot emporium-large screenies

Hello All,

After a little trouble with photobucket's features, I've now managed to get my imageshack to work, fingers crossed...LOL

My next feature is a UK route called Sheffield in South Yorkshire, by a very talented gentleman by the name of Gregory Deryckere, a.k.a Captain Scarlet to the Trainz community.
It must be stressed that this is still a work in progress as the route encompasses both North Derbyshire and South Yorkshire, and even after 5 years hard work on it, it isn't complete yet. Greg has very kindly given me permission to show you some pics of various areas of the layout to date, as the version on his website has obviously been updated. I will have to do this in a couple of stages as it is such a huge route, however, for all those who may want to download what is on offer so far, I will give u his link and I'm sure he will be delighted with your interest. BE WARNED - It is VERY highly detailed and may sap the strength of some low-end machines....

http://www.gregory-deryckere.co.uk/trainz/downloads.html

My first section of shots concentrates on the Sheffield City area, and depicts a special charter train being hauled by 2 Class 40 locomotives, one at each end, as they work the empty coaching stock down towards Sheffield Midland Station from an overnight stop in Doncaster.
This is an industrial area depicted from the 1970's, I think, so there's lots of chimneys and steelworks, etc.....

My second section will follow soon, and as I'm still learning, these screenshots are bigger than normal, but worth it......Enjoy.

I had a huge system crash and complete re-installation of everything, so hopefully things should be back to normal now, finger crossed...hehe

2 years ago this month I was on holiday in the highlands of Scotland, and after downloading hooverman's fabulous Ultimate Highlands layout (kuid 69768:1000150) last week, I can reminisce of what the scenery is like in the area.
My thanks to all the creators of the locomotives, etc, as well.....

All copyright is mine.....

07.00 hrs, full fog, and an early morning freight leaves Kildare for Invermiddle behind the ubiquitous Class 37, which ruled the land in the 1970's onwards....

Large Screenies warning....

Today I'm staying in Scotland with a fab route that appeared on the DLS this week by holoperson, called Seton 2004 1 - kuid 231706:100071 - a great mixture of all scenery that is on offer in this lovely country...Enjoy the sand, snow, castle and forest, and a few bridges as well.......LOL

After the excitement of the release of TC3, thought I'd have a look around to see what else has hit the DLS in the last couple of months, since we've been so engrossed in the S & C......LOL
Harcourt's superb new layout, Along UTA Lines - KUID2:124632:813536:1, seems to have gotten some favourable press recently, so decided to have a look and as you can see from the screenies, it was an excellent decision.
Having already downloaded routes from this talented Irishman over the years, it was no surprise to see the stunning detail afforded in the 4 years it took to complete this fabulous layout, and certainly will be a huge hit for all those who enjoy large routes with attention to detail.....Enjoy this small selection taken from the Londonderry to Coleraine section of the map.
