VRR #97 ready to lead the last train of the day north to meet with the south bound Essex Clipper Dinner Train at Deep River.
VRR #97 steam through the meadow just north of Essex.
VRR #97 running along the swamps that line edge of the Connecticut River.
VRR #97 coming around the turn into Deep River.

VRR #97 continues on it's path north while the Essex Clipper goes on it's way south with the very full passengers from eating there prime rib.

I love that smoke. I watch "Werewolf" with Anthony Hopkins this afternoon and there was a british vapor machine in it and the smoke looked identical.

Good evening everyone.
I’ve had some PM enquiries about which locomotives have been used in my screenshot #1232.
Here’s another shot of the three from the same camera angle.
They're all British Railways locos. From left to right:
BR 9f Double Chimney – kuid2:101839:1033:2
RB Merchant Navy - kuid2:101839:1000:1 (RB is not a typo, it stands for re-built [from the original Bullied ‘Spam Can’ design])
BR Schools ‘Harrow’ Black – kuid:193148:1059
