Nearly went mad the last fortnight doing nothing but vast areas of background textures. Oh for the good ol' days of short draw distance LOL.

Anyway back doing some more interesting 'real' routebuilding...

Ex-UP SD40-2 now running as SWMX #4201 shoves a cut of tank cars back into the CountryMark refinery at Mt Vernon. Pretty sure there are no Country Mark service sations yet.

Ed or Dave - are you listening? I said no CountryMark service stations.... yet...

I just realised the last screenshot is almost the same as one posted just a few days ago. That tracking cam is my favourite railfanning spot on the route!

Beautiful work Andy, it looks just like real southern Indiana. Now, just add some people drinking RC Cola on the back of a pickup truck at sunset, and you've completed the scene.
I'd truly love to see you do the Evansville - Sullivan, IN section of the CSX, simply because you've represented that area so well in this. Of course, I understand the work involved, believe me. Kudos to you for keeping at this route, all route construction eventually drives me crazy. Seriously though, I visited this area so much as a young boy, we have family roots there. I still go through there every few months on travel, and again, this route is just spot on. Great work!
