Error in coupler script

I have been in a switching session for over 2 hours, and all the sudden, one of the boxcar's couplers is sticking to my locomotives's, so it seems to be permanently stuck together. I have tried restarting trainz, and other things, but no results. Such a simple annoying thing...:'(

I've seen that happen sometimes when I was moving too fast in a coupling attempt. Usually the couplers just break and won't join at all, but now and then they jam together and won't separate.
