Error 1045!!!

I just bought the 3 Disc set of Trainz Collection, and while the 1st disc seems to work, when I try to install Trainz Routes 1-4 I come up with this annoying error msg which just says "1045" and when you click OK it then shows a secondary message which says "An error occurred: File execution failed, elevation required". What does that all mean? The same with trying to install Trainz 2004 and others from the 3rd disc as well...
I would Appreciate some help as i am getting very frustrated !:n:

If you're using Vista, try running each of the Trainz installation programs in Administrator mode and disabling UAC. Once installed, Trainz also needs to be run in Administrator mode.

mmm you might want to clean the disk off.????

You may also want to copy the disks to your hard drive and install from there instead of the discs.....

Hi,
The same thing happened to me not to long ago. What has happened is the .exe (execution) file has failed to load. But there is a simpler solution. Open it up in my computer, click on the disk, click on the folder, eg. TRV1/2/3/4. Then click on the folder that is called 'bin', then click on the Auran Patcher (it has the Auran logo, dont worry). That should start installing your routes. I have Trainz Collection too, trust me, the extra routes and content is great! Depneds what your into though. AS for Trainz 04. Open it up in computer and go to TRS2004_SP4_DVD_Installer, keep going through until you find a big list of folders and files. Find 'setup' with the Install Shield logo in front of it and click on it. And it should work. Enjoy!
