Erase A Large Amount Of Objects From A Route?

Assume I have many clumps of grass over a wide area and inter-mingled with other objects. Is there a way to erase these grass objects in one step. REPLACE does not seem to allow a replace with a blank entry.

Delete in content manager having saved to a cdp first in case you want them again and then use remove missing assets on the route.

The other way is to select a blank area, copy that "blank" objects then paste them where you want to delete them.

The grass objects look great to a certain extent, but sometimes they're pretty awful. I went through a period where I added grass then removed it myself.

Been there as well, some looks great until you change the viewing perspective...............
