Enhancing your Trainz Driver Experience

Hello All,
I am not sure whether this has been mentioned before. I just purchased Trackir by Natural Point to improve my Sim experience for Flight Sim (See http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/ for a description). Essentially, Trackir is an infrared tracking device that replicates your head movements for viewing objects rather than having to use a 'point of hat' view to see where you are looking. Turn your head and your view follows whatever direction your head is moving. Left, right, up, down, in/out just as if you were actually in the cockpit or the train cab. It has a setting for Trainz and works well. Well worth a look if you are trying to improve the realism of your sim experience.

A friend of my brothers had one of those things. He used it for a flight simulator and I tried it in Trainz. Sadly for me it made me sick to my stomach so it's a no go for me.

The "Buttkicker" is also a nice device to add to your simulation experience in either genre.

I have had Trackir for a couple years. I used it in some of my racing games, did not know it works with Trainz. Thanks!
