Enhanced TRC3 invisible interlocking tower - Faulty?

I've downloaded Enhanced TRC3 invisible Interlocking Tower (TANE SP4 and later) <kuid2:61392:8101:78> by pguy but it shows as Faulty in CM. Listing dependencies shows <kuid2:61392:8190:87> EnhancedInterlockingTowers library (TANE SP4 and later) also Faulty.

I'm running TRS19 (std and plus) and TRS22. Is there another version for TRS19 that works or am I missing something for the above version?

Any help on this is appreciated.

John

Same here, all EIT assets are faulty, I got an error in the library script.

All the latest assets by pguy since Nov 2021. I don't have any errors showing in TRS22.

Hi

Having in your log a diagnosis of missing EnhancedLibrary.gs means you don't have currently the last version of Common Data Library V3.
Just delete and re download <kuid2:61392:4050:62> Common Data Library V3 which is the library asset containing the EnhancedLibrary class. This should fix the problem.

Regards.
Pierre.

Hi Pierre,
I think the problem may lie with the latest DLS version of the Common Data Library V3, which is version 64. I downloaded this today when my current v63 showed as out of date, but that has caused all of my EIT / MCM assets to show as faulty. Was version 64 supposed to be for TRS19 and above (at build 4.8) maybe?

For now, I'll just delete v64 and revert to v63.

John

Although I think the OP posted before the arrival of version 64, I too have the same issue with the following all now showing as faulty in build 116271 after downloading this latest version of Common Data Library:

<kuid2:61392:8321:71> AutoDriveToMCPathStop (TANE SP4 and later)
<kuid2:61392:8330:71> SetMCTimeTable (TANE SP4 and later)
<kuid2:61392:8290:85> MissionCodeLibrary (TANE SP4 and later)
<kuid2:61392:8322:74> AutoDriveWithMCTimeTable (TANE SP4 and later)
<kuid2:61392:8130:87> IT Enhanced Manager rule (TANE SP4 and later)
<kuid2:61392:8190:87> EnhancedInterlockingTowers library (TANE SP4 and later)
<kuid2:61392:8200:85> MissionCode manager (TANE SP4 and later)
<kuid2:61392:8300:76> Stops and TimeTables manager (TANE SP4 and later)
<kuid2:61392:8101:78> Enhanced TRC3 invisible Interlocking Tower (TANE SP4 and later)
<kuid2:61392:8311:80> MC - PathStop (TANE SP4 and later)
<kuid2:61392:8201:80> SetMissionCode (TANE SP4 and later)

Likewise I'll revert to v63 in the meantime.

Thanks,
Paul

The problem is in the file cdhelper.gs of <kuid2:61392:4050:64> Common data library V3 (TANE SP4 and later). The declaration of the function ShowMessageBox has been changed from 2 parameters to 3 parameters.

And to add, the Portal Manager with Timetable Run Time Monitor is no longer loading fully, despite restarts, full DBR, etc.

I tried to reinstall with the common library V63
The library itself will install without issues and but still the interlocking towers were faulty
It looks like the EIT library won't install correct:

No sorry not true downloading this will install V64 of the common lib that will give an errror
So it is something in the latest version of the common lib

'Download' will always download the latest version. Use 'Download this version' instead, to download the :63 version.

Hi.

It seems that <kuid2:61392:4050:64> Common Data Library V3 Release 64 which should have fixed a problem with RTM (Run Time monitors) not displaying under TRS22 after a database rebuild is currently faulty.

A new release
<kuid2:61392:4050:65> Common Data Library V3 Release 65 fixing the problem is currently uploaded to DLS and should be available in the next 24 hours ...

For trainzers having installed the faulty release, you can either delete release 64 and return to the previous release 63 available on DLS or you can upload a cdp with the new release 65 available following this link :
https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ao4KHd0vFBWks-FVCUzxCnNma5-nxA?e=gdbYaa

Sorry for the disturbance.

.
Yes but reinstalling the enhanced interlocking tower assets will also download the dependencies. That means that the v64 version is reinstalled with it.
You have to revert back manually so be aware of that

Hi Pierre,
No need for excuses things like that will happen and you response and support is top notch

I can also vouch for the excellent support that pguy provides.

v65 fixed the errors, but for me, the Portal Manager with Timetable Run Time Monitor is still not loading fully, despite restarts, full DBR, etc. It simply lists the log events and nothing much else.

Thanks,
Paul

Pierre,

I waited for the 65 version to be available on the DLS. It is now and I installed it and everything is back to normal. Thanks
I did wonder at trying this though. I started another thread about a loco slowing down on a EIT controlled junction for no apparent reason. But at my surprise after installing the new data library I can not reproduce that behavior. Could that have something to do with the new library? Does this makes any sense to you?

regards,
Ruud

Hi Ruud.

No. The Common Data Library, as its name suggest it, offers some common routine API To be used by any of my assets when needed but has nothing to do with specific processing for EITs, MCM, ...
In last update, routines that were updated concerns the interface that manages run time monitors in driver mode and also another interface used on error detection to show a message box on screen.
So nothing to do with a loco slowing down on a EIT controlled junction ...

If you have problems with a loco slowing down on a EIT controlled junction, you should first identify which driver command was in execution at the time the train has slowed down. In Trainz, it is the driver command currently executed which is in charge in relation with signals, speed track objects, ... to drive the train at the adequate speed through junctions and signals. These driver commands in charge of driving can rely on several internal API offering internal access to some of of the AI behaviour, but it is inside the driver command that the internal logic for driving is implemented. So the first question to look at is which driver command was in control of the train at the time the train has incorrectly slowed down ...
