Engine lights

Run your trains for a day (Trainz time). When it get's dark in the evening, all the lights turn ON. I mean buildings, lamp posts, etc. But the engine does not turn ON until exactly 18:23. By then it is too dark. Same in the morning: Loco lights go OFF when it is still too dark. Question: How hard is it to change, and how? In case anyone ask, it happens on all locos. Obviously, if you try to turn the lights ON during the day, there is no light. By lighting I mean the illumination produced by the headlamp over the front terrain or tracks ahead of the engine. On some locos, you can see the headlamp lighted during the day, but there is no visible beam illuminating anything, specially inside of tunnels.

If you're writing about the headlights and ditch lights of the locomotive, in North America, this would be a major violation of safety rules. When the engine is on the main track, it is required to have the headlight illuminated whether day or night.

when a train enters a tunnel asset that is configured as such the light cone does show and light the tunnel. I find this very distracting because you cannot see the light cone until the loco is on the tunnel asset, and the cone will also illuminate the terrain at the opposite tunnel portal until the locomotive leaves the tunnel asset. I would agree with your post though, it does need some fix.
