Electrical boxes?

Can anybody tell me the name of the small electrical boxes found by the trackside please, preferably UK types but not necessarily.
I seem to have lost all the ones I had within the Dispatcher data loss.

Have tried several searches but only come up relatively empty so far.

Cheers for any info.

Angela,

I'm not entirely sure, but are they called Relay boxes?

Hope this helps!
Mitch

Yes, Mitch is right, there called relay boxes, and there is a UK version in Trainz 2010 along with many others, also in the signal section, there is one that can be placed at lineside, just by clicking on a piece of track.

I know one of them makes a little buzzing noise, I think it's called tside relay box, place them on the map and listen for the buzzing noise, I usually hide these under, more realistic looking relay boxes.

Hope this helps

Thanks to you both

Yes, a big thanks to you both. I am sure I am going senile - well I am the right age! Just could not remember that magic word, relay.

I use 2004 for route creation as it gives me a wider 'audience' for the end product and as 2010 now inc;udes 04 built-in assets it should not be a problem installing the routes into the latest version of Trainz.

I am not Trainz retarded, ha ha, I do have TC3 and 2006, but still prefer to work in 2004.

So thank you both,

Angela

I love all versions of Trainz, especially TRS2004, TRS2006 and TC3, these were by far the best. Trainz 2010 is fantastic, there is a new feature called the layer system in Trs2010, and if you can master that, then you'll love trainz 2010.

I'm just getting the hang of the layers system, I'm just building a temporary route, and see what layers can do, if I have problems with the layers system, then I'll go back and read up on what I missed.

Good luck with you route, and happy we could help...

Many thanks Martin. Those numbers are a good idea, I will check them with the assets I have now.
I just could not remember the work Relay, goodness knows why... and the UK boxes are called UK signalling.... so need to be searched for a little more.

Thanks to all who have posted and helped.
