eep/virtural railroad5.0

I have an early version of this prog and didn't rate it at all. Didn't stand up against Trainz in any way.........Has there been any advancement or improvements - see it's up to V5. Just interested as you seem to be in the know, as they say.....

I obtained my original copy of EEP through one of these computer companies that deal in all kinds of software. Something like 'Boogaloo' but not that one - I can't remember which one. There is or was a distributor in this country but now, who knows...........

I had obtained eep3 in troon which is in northen england but before then I didn't even know that it had existed.

Here is the English version of the website link below and on the English version of the website you can only buy version 4.0 and version 5.0 is only available in German

But I can't type german.:( and I've tryed the demo of it and I think it's just as good as trainz.

Hi

I have just downloaded a Video of EPP Virtual Railroad 5.0 from the EPP German site and in the video it's says it will available in German & English, maybe the english version will be out in ther future sometime.:)

I had a copy a few years back but trying to add a third party route crashed my PC and trashed my O/S resulting in a reformat of the HD. Now that might just be me, but in any event it was more of a model orientated programme and doesn't really do anything the existing sims don't already do.
 
was it a downloaded route or was it one that you where making yourself? and isn't that a shame.

It was a downloaded route and yes it was a shame because despite always intending to back up vital emails, documents etc. it's the task one never gets round to. :'(

O/S = Operating System aka Windows etc.
 
So did anybody buy eep from eep4u?

If yes I would like to know if you had lost money?

I am asking these questions to prove to my mum that the site is dependable.

I just wonder when they will reply because I wrote them an E-mail a while ago and they didn't reply.
 
When I had the system crash using EEP, I emailed their support guys and never got a reply or acknowledgment of the problem. Bear in mind though these guys' native language is German not English so they could be translating it, though as the software is published with an English version they must have at least one person on the team who speaks the language.

Have you tried checking Ebay for a secondhand copy? That way you can use Paypal which will give some guarantee against fraud and possibly pick it up cheaper, too.
