Editting Trackside name and a TRS19 crash

For my route I want all junctions and signals named like they are in real life
this is a task that takes years lol (its about 18k items)

While I thought I was editing a junction name, i accidently placed a track mark
pressed undo, so the trackmark was gone, but there was still a ? /property window open
then A hard crash of TRS19 and thought I had lost my route......
Much to my (happy) surprise when I tried to open the route again
it gave me a popup, saying you have unsubmitted edits, I choose use these changes and phewww it was back
none of the work I had done was lost

but:
1-wonderful this saveguard is built-in, ty !
2-if an item is gone, it should not leave a property browser and crash

this happened in my favorite build 100240, that hardly ever crashes
but could be same in newer builds
greetings GM

Interesting crash. I've never experienced that in Trainz in any version.

Check the event viewer in Windows for any kind of hardware or Windows OS issues.

Check through the Trainz log - Use Show Logs under Developer on the Launcher or while in Content Manager. This one, to be warned, doesn't save anything to disk and the log is only a screen buffer, so you may not see what crashed or not. In Trainz, this could have been something totally unrelated, such as another scripted asset having a field day and using up memory, that caused this asset to get blamed for the crash.

Did you close the properties window of the TM before you did the undo? The crash was most likely Trainz looking for the TM that the property's window belonged to.

tried to read the log but its too long (note to self: do" clear logs" more often)
I miss a time stamp in the log

stagecoach is right, it was probably caused by not closing the property window, so my error
but I hope trainz(and its scripts) in the future can(and should), close property windows when an item is removed
I know how hard it is to make scripts/software idiot proof :-)
