East Coast Railroad Museums?

Steam Forever
I know they're out there, but where? :hehe:

Me and my dad are planning some trips out to various railroad museums up and down the east coast, we've been to Strasburg, RR Museum Of PA, Western Maryland Senic, Wilmington and Western, B&O RR Museum, Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum and probably a few others I have forgotten about.

So, tell me, what have I missed?

We still plan on going to Steam town, Cass, and NC Museum of Transportation. I heard rumors of one up in NY that has all/some/most/a few of their displays open to the public so one can climb up into the cab.

Wannamaker Kempton & Southern RR, New Hope & Ivyland RR, East Broad Top RR are some interesting railroads to ride. The Selsom Seen Coal Mine RR (seldom seen since it's rarely open), Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine RR, and the Landford Coal Mine, Crystal Cave, Indian Caverns, Lincoln Caverns are some fun tours. With Halloween comming, some of them are haunted with gouhls dressed up in scary costumes.

Way too broad a subject but...
If you're near Washington DC, I suggest the Smithsonian, and there's a nice little museum in Gaithersburg. Savannah has their Historic Railroad Shops, and there are others out there...
