E-coli and trains in EU

With the news channels here in the USA reporting a large e.coli outbreak in the EU. the questions I have are:

Does produce travel by train in the EU?

How much, if any, will trains in the EU be impacted if they are not moving produce throughout the EU?

Will there be loss of freight revenue, reduced number of freight trains, people losing jobs temporarily during this situation?

Hopefully, the source of the e.coli will be found and be corrected.

Sad to hear about the related deaths and many people made ill by this.
