Use content manager to check for errors or missing dependencies. There is a full description of error correction techniques in the forums, a quick search for the specific error should result in a correction. For missing dependencies, search the DLS, then use google to search for the kuid, failing that search the forums for the kuid and barring that, post the missing kuid and the kuid of the item that is not working!

If no errors or missing dependencies, then post the kuid of the problem item and we can check it out further.

Hi, Bricey,
Thanks for your reply. It is not a missing kuid, it's one that will not download. The kuid 67261:53003 is part of a pack for 36dunkirk, kuid 67261:2 it go's through the process of downloading but when you transfer it over to edit it just tells me it is not recognised. And i have not got a clue what to do.

Hello again Bricey,
Again thanks for your help. I have read the info. on the Forum page that you suggested, but unfortunatly i do not really understand what to do. Not very bright when it comes to using a computer.
How do I edit the config file of the Dunkirk loco to change the E/spec tag to the Heisler E/spec.

Find out the kuid of the enginespec you want to replace the existing one with, and take note of the origional Kuid. Place the new Kuid into the Kuid Table section where the old kuid is. Then place the new kuid in the Enginespec tag area. Save and Commit in CMP.

Hope this helps!

Hi.
Thank you, but how is this actualy done.

Find the locomotive in Content Manager

Right-click on the locomotive and choose Edit in Explorer

A folder will open up and you'll see graphics files and text files (.tga & .txt).

Look for Config.txt.

Double click on Config.txt.

Scroll until you find the Enginespec in the file.

Note the Kuid number.

Type in the new engine spec in the same place.

Scroll to the bottom of the file to the KUIDS section of the config.txt file.

Type in the new value.

Save the file (File save, or CTRL+S on the keyboard).

Close the folder

In Content Manager, Press CTRL+M to commit the file to the database.

You should be all set.

If there are any errors, such as missing content, ensure that you typed the correct value for the new enginespec.

Hope this clarifies the information posted here.
