Hi guys i am new here and i just signed up. I lurked around for a while. Anyways i need help. I am using trainz classics the harlem line version and i created my own layout routes with passenger service. I have one main line and a branch off line witch connects to the main line. I having a had time trying to get trains to run on there own. When i go to set up a schedule i would set it up so one train would go from start station to end finish station. But the driver will only go to the next station and he would not contiune the schedue. Or it will follow the schedule and not stop at any of the stations untill it gets to the terminal. I was able to have the trains to relay in the terminals without a problem but it wont stop at any stations. I use trackmarks at each station.

Hi there,
Without seeing your route it is most likely a signalling fault. If the train cannot tell whether the line is clear for it's chosen path then it won't proceed. Without further information it's difficult to be able to be more helpful.

Cheers
Russell.

If you are using TM as station stops you need to put a wait for command after the drive to TM. TM's dont stop a train they are just a guidance point. Use passenger enabled station track you can use the navigate to and load commands.

Thanks guys i really apperciate it. I used a standard signal aspect, red_yellow_Green, but at junctions i used the same signal aspect. Maybe thats the problem my route is a nyc subway style route. I will post pics.

After reading that guide i had to re-signal my entire layout. All i have is a simple 3 track local express and a branch off 2 track line. That guide really helped me understand more about trainz that i didnt know.

You've only scratched the surface of this program. :)
