downloads very slow

I have reinstall Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019 i am downloading addons for it . it takes for ever I am only getting 10 to 20 kb sec I do have 10 mb for downloads speeds on my net. why is it so slow ? I even unplug my modem and plug it back and restart my pc in still no change I am able download fast on other links like steam

First Class Ticket? If not, then your download speeds are throttled artificially at the server end.
If you have one, then it is possible the FCT server is very busy or perhaps undergoing maintenance a.t.m.

DLS downloads are capped at at a slow speed for non-FCT holders. Downloads from the Trainz Store - installs and DLC - are always at the maximum speed that your ISP will allow. If the "addons" you are downloading are DLC packages then the issue is somewhere between the Amazon servers (which host the DLS, DLC and Trainz Store) and your computer.

The link pointed to above does not show any server problems that I can see.

yes i did activate it i have Gold Class membership

Then I would be looking at your ISP. Have you exceeded any download limits that may cause them to reduce your speed?

I do have united internet. I tried again It was downloading fast then it slow down again . I am starting to think there sever is very busy
