Downloading the program

A week ago I purchased Trainz 2010. The charge has gone through my bank, so it's paid for. The download information is sketchy or incorrect. I have an FTP site they provided me, but it does not get me to the program download (seemingly). The FTP information says Host Port 21, but the url address leads me to what would appear to be Host Port 80. I have put in a ticket at the help desk, but there has been no help from that quarter for a week. what am I missing/do not know.

Interesting...

When I bought my copy of TS2010 last weekend, I don't remember having the choice of downloading it. I had to go with the boxed version via snail-mail.

Sry to hear about your problem....have had some sort of it myself.
When you have given a ticket, don't refresh it, because it count on the date posted, so you will only go further back if you do.

I assume you have an Auran Planet profile....log into this one...and go to your order history.

I have copy an help from Zec that maybe can help you to get it down:

Hi All

In regards to the helpdesk, this is currently approximately 4 days behind. There are some tickets that are older, mainly due to either issues that we are currently working on for them, or that require some extra time to go to work through. For example, we would prefer to get through 10-15 tickets in 30 minutes, rather than sit on one for half an hour, since by getting through as many as possible as quickly as possible will get us closer to the tickets that we need to spend more time on more quickly, and allow us to spend the necessary time on them.

In regards to the setup.exe asking for the disc, you need to download all five files, and have all five files in the same folder, before running the setup.exe

The five files will be listed on the order page in your order history, which can be access by clicking on the 'Profile' button at the top of the page, and then going to 'order history'. Next, you will need to click on the appropriate order number.

Please ensure that, when you download the files, that they are named as follows:

setup.exe
setup-1a.bin
setup-1b.bin
setup-1c.bin
setup-2a.bin

Thank you for your patience.

Downloading

That seemed to do the trick. If I had simply been given the route of looking under the order number to access the files, I would have had this thing last weekend. Files downloading, but as they say, it is huge. Looks like eight hours at 200 kb/s. Here's hoping the link holds up.
