Downloaded Trainz 12, but can,t find,how to start.

Do you have all the files in the same folder somewhere? Temporarily disable your antivirus, and choose the .exe file, and install as administrator.

If installed correctly on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system, you can type "Trainz" in the Start Menu, it should pop up in the results.

Not even sure where to start? Will try to do bit by bit.
To begin with,Thank,s in advace Who reply/help. I am somewhat on the low level..."all files in the same folder",not sure how-to. Will desable antivirus. Where will I find .exe file ,and install as administrator.
On the other hand,..why it takes so many steps to install TZ12. One should expect after paying dues,TZ 12 should expect auto. Just asking. Thank.s in advance. Jack.

No way around it Jack, the files are too large to just download and install in one step.
Download all the files. Right click on your empty desktop and choose "New Folder". Name it Trainz 12 or something. Move all the files into this folder. Disable antivirus. Open folder and explore the files until you find the installation file, usually it will be an exe file. Right click on this file and then choose "Install (or Run) as Administrator". Be prepared to supply the serial number when asked.

Thank,s for All the help. Digital download was something I have not done it b4. Always purchased hard copy. After few reply,s to my post, I put 2@ 2 together and was able to download TZ12 with no problems. Most of the problem I found...,Auran does not make clear step by step instruction between purchasing and downloading,which e-mails show step by step instructions on how- to. Maybe I am wrong here,but instructions need to be a bit transparent,where to click after purchase to find 5 downloades in order to have SIM downloaded. Anyhow thank,s one,s again.I am on board with TZ12. I have register my TZ12 ,but it probably takes a bit of time to show next to my loco.

I'm glad you got it sorted Jack. I know Zec Murphy posted some pretty good instructions on the process before, but you never can tell how advanced a persons is, and I don't think any instructions would be comprehensive enough to cover all questions!
