Still says it's damaged or wrong formatTry deleting and reinstalling it. It sounds like it did not get loaded correctly.
I can't open the asset because I don't have it installed. I can't install it because the .chump is broken in some way. I also tried downloading other emd 12-567 and got the same error.Doh! Yes, OK. I also downloaded that from DLS and it is fine. Make sure it is not open for edit or something. Or, open it in Explorer and see if you have a .chump file or a config.txt. The .chump file should expand to config.txt. If necessary you can try using chump expander.exe to expand the .chump file.
I suppose it's a problem I'll suffer alone then. I couldn't delete the corrupted file through the content manager so I went ahead with the extended database rebuild. Redownloaded the locomotives and reinstalled the dependency. All that's changed is the CDP file name. It's still corrupted.Locate the corrupted file in the Content Organizer: <kuid:780388:102258> EMD 12-567 para locomotoras GR12W - (3)
try deleting it. Perform an extended database rebuild:

If it doesn't let you delete the corrupted file, do an extended database rebuild.
Re-download the locomotives and their dependencies and reinstall.
Everything is working fine for me, nothing is corrupted, it's just a problem that only happens to you.
It seems you can try backdating the build to 4.4 and it will change to a warning, but if it uses LOD that will cause a different error because it has to be 4.6 for LOD.I also have a VE186 error
Excuse me, but what is CDP Explorer?NEVERMIND
Using CDP Explorer, I was able to export the file into a CDP and install it from my computer into Trainz. All seems to be working. Thank you for your help.
CDP Explorer is an application written by fellow Trainzer VMM that allows us to see what's inside a cdp file as well as extract the contents individually. This is useful when we need a single file located in a large cdp without needing to extract and install everything.Excuse me, but what is CDP Explorer?
