Download Station Problems.

When I have a purchased download ticket the Download Station runs slowly when locating the content x 2 times. I have to wait 16 second for the first screen and then another 16 seconds for the save as pop up to come up. Once the content is ready for download then it is a very fast download worthy of the purchased ticket. But way to painfully to wait for the pop ups to come up.

After my Download Station ticket expired, what is weird is the pop up windows open in 1 second and no 16 second wait, but the actual download is of course slow due to the expired ticket.

I will also send this complaint to the helpdesk and wait for an answer maybe by 2013 if they reply at all.

I am not being neagative this time as before but I do not want to buy anymore downlaod tickets due to this problem.

It is not my computer's fault as I have had the same results on other internet computers. I do not have my Trainz on my internet computer only on my non internet computer due to resource restrictions.

Holy cow, 32 seconds.....that's almost like three quarters of a minute! In PC time, that's about two hours! I don't know how you survived!
Okay, all kidding aside, I can see where that could be irritating. Downloading through CM is the best solution, using the black pages is fraught with niggling irritations just like this.

Yep, I have used both Firefox and IE9 to download directly from the DLS and concur, relatively speaking, with your timings jjeff1955. It seems that having no FCT you get a much quicker service, but much slower download time, especially for large files, I obtained a tree created by mcguirel at 66mb and it took 58 minutes to download, I downloaded the same asset yesterday and it took 2.5 minutes.....
