Neither of those statements have been made by Auran. What they have said is "the problem is being addressed" and "Currently acting on it" and "hope it will be fixed soon" Of course, you can interpret that any way you wish.If that's the case, then customers are owed at least an explanation instead of misleading responses like "It's Being Fixed" and "It Will Return Soon".
Well said.I think you are spot-on OzBoz. I hope the few Trainz people at Auran can go on and get the Trainz running again. I suppose we all should just wait and see what happens. Perhaps speak some words of encouragement to the crew instead of the bickering, blaming, flaming and whining because the DLS doesn't work for a few days.

What we have to remember is that Auran now has only a skeleton staff, and they are in the hands of a liquidator. I see nothing in what they've said that guarantees a return to normal service. They have chosen their words wisely because, worst case scenario, they might be out of business next month.
I think explanations and apologies to the punters would be very low on their list, when they're facing the possibility of oblivion.
You are absolutely correct, they owe us nothing. Who are we to complain about service being down and not a word of explanation. Who do we think we are to make such an imperious assumption? Did the crew of the Titanic owe the passengers anything when they jump ship and left them to flounder? Of course not! They had other priorities than the well being of the people, mainly saving their own donkeys and leaving everyone else to find their own passage off. So with that in mind, I think I will just wait until the last iceberg passes and abandon ship. Oh, and I'll be sure to post several "I'm Leaving" messages as well.

No need to get contentious here guys.
Cheers

You are actually comparing the death of more then 1500 people with the DLS being down for a few days?
I guess its indeed time you bail out from here.
Just it's curious to highlight the fact that humble content creators and contributors to the DS (gratis et amore) are the ones who are not complaining about. Just a Saturday evening remark! That's the spice of life! :hehe:
