Hi I'm new to trainz so this might be an obvious problem to solve but whenever I try and download something it says "Unable to register Trainz Helper registry key". I'd be grateful for any assistance thankyou.

I assume you are running Trainz/CMP on Windows Vista or Windows 7. In order for the program to work properly, you need to run the program as administrator.
Right mouse-button click on the short-cut.
Choose properties...
then Compatibility Tab.
Click the Run as Administrator check box at the bottom.
Click OK to confirm your changes.
This should allow your program to run fine without the error message.
