download station invallid content

Hallo, I am new to trainz and just bought Trainz 12 online from "steam"; I am trying out the program so I did the register and purchaged an FCT, but in the download station I am ,unable to download something always get invallid content, what I'am doing wrong.

I have always bought the boxed version and have never used the Steam platform. It may be that yours being the Steam digital download version that doesn't recognize the DLS. My advice is to scrap that service and order the boxed version.

The patching situation has changed with the Steam version, but you may still have to patch it manually through the Steam client.

It may well be that your firewall is blocking the program.

Shane thanks for pointing out my error. I wasn't aware that Steam has fixed their service to manually patch TRS 2012.

No problem. I have also updated my records on my tutorial site for that as well (on the 'Can I patch my version' page).

The patch for it should auto-install on that version, but it does vary.

Hallo Shane; thanks for the quick reply, up to yesterday I was not able to download something, to day I tried again with nothing one setting changed on my system and the downloads are working fine now, download helper OK downmoad basket OK, is there maybe a lag between registering the product and the ability to start add downloads.
