Download Station and FCT's

Hey guys - I was wondering if you are able to download from the download station without having a FCT? When I have tried searching on it nothing will come up - so is it just searching or do you need a FCT

Unforturnately 2006 and below are no longer supported and require an FCT to download from the DLS. Newer products likes 2009, 2010, 2012, and believe TC as well allow free access to the DLS. However, the free dls server is limited to the number of connections permitted so even with a registered copy of a supported version, it is hit and miss to obtain a connection to the DLS.

Best bet is an FCT and best bang for the buck is a full year FCT.
