Download Problems

Since installing TS12, I have been unable to download anything. Purchased PRR T1 package but was unable to make connection to Auran. Received message

"Access Denied: You do not have access to one or more of the directory the file is under."

Why can't Auran just make the file available for direct download to any directory I name instead of trying to control the directory?

This is NOT a User Access Control error from windows 7; I always log on as Administrator. And I have access to all the TS12 folders and subfolders through Windows Explorer.

Yes, but does the program itself have access? You need to tell Windows to run Trainz and all its components in administrator mode.

1) Go to "(TS12-installroot)\bin". Perform the following steps for each application you find.
2) Right-click the application and select "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility tab.
4) On the bottom of that window, ensure the option "Run this program as administrator" is checked off.
5) Click OK.

That error is actually FTP related.

If the error persists, you need to contact Helpdesk so they can sort out the permissions required for you to download the file.
