Download Problem

Hi i got Trainz 2012 and i cannot download any content from the download manager and inbuilt one
Can anyone help me please

Hi,

Does your content manager have a red bar at the bottom. if it does then you must log in to content manager by clicking on the red bar and typing in your username and password.

If you dont have a red bar at the bottom all i can suggest is that you make sure that your where you drag an item to download it is download helper and not the other boxes.

I Use steam version

What exactly happens when you try to download something

Nothing really
I place the file e.g. Cityrail Endeavour into the download manager hit start and then one of the 2 buttons down below changes to retry.
And that is it sometimes the kuids just go red and skips each one

Well, sometimes when i click start it doesn't do anything but i think thats because it full. did you say you had a FCT? also an item turning red means that the kuid is not on download station or something, it happens to me

Edit: Just thought of something, could it be that Content Manager its trying to download to trs2010 and not 2012????

Go into Kaspersky Security firewall and ensure that CM has full access in both directions. I can't remember the settings offhand, but there was a similar issue at work with someone's laptop. (No they weren't using Trainz! LOL).

No success im thinking of going back to before speedtrees at least the download manager worked on those

I tried trainz 09 and it said the servers appear to be full

The server full issue should not be happening - try clearing your download helper list.

Is your FCT actavatived?

On your actual trainz game, in surveyor, in the top right-hand corner, click the plus and then go into download station with the window that opens up. try downloading something there.
