Download helper problem

Hi I am new to the forum and I need a bit of help with a couple of problems. First I joined trainz today, with tc3 Settle & Carlise, I registered my copy and bought a three month first class ticket. Then I went to download station to download some items. I tried to download an item with download helper but all I got was a white internet explorer page with these messages. The web page cannot be displayed, most likely cause some contant or files on this web page require a program that you don't have installed. What you can try search on line for a program you can use to view this website, retype the address, go back to the previous page.


This happend every time I tried to download with download helper & download cart. Hope someone can help. The second problem is with contant manager plus, on the right side the only item showing is current search, all the rest are missing, like installed kuid, all, download station, does anybody know why this might be happining and how to fix it. Hope I can get some help. Thank you.

If you are using Windows Vista or 7 (Basic or Home Premium), Trainz must be run as administrator - see http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/index.php?page=running-as-administrator)

Additional, if you use the so called superuser account with administrative priviliges - this is the account that gets created during the initial install of the Windows OS - you'll still get this error because there's a subtle difference between running as a real administrator and the superuser account. Remedy is to strart ContentManager.exe in the trainz bin folder once using right click / Run as administrator. This will set up the needed reference for IE in the registry and it will work allways after that in future.
