Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me

Hi All

I have been using Trainz for a while and I finally found some insperation on the net to create my 1st layout. This is my 1st post as I now have a problem in Surveyor that is bugging me.

The Sun has gone down. Thats right, it is now night time in Surveyor and too dark to see to add or move content.

This seemed to happen after I changed the weather to Stormy for a quick test run but I cant really confirm that.

All local content opens in daylight mode.

Please help or I may be forced to use Night Goggles

you can fix that by going to the clock in the tab of with the picture of the earth.. set it to where it says 3 and the sun will come up again

Thanks a lot. I will blame it on the new PC, works too fast. I must have changed the time without seeing what I had done

I seem to remember that there is a button next to that clock that causes the time to advance quite quickly while you build - you may have hit that by accident...

true i guess, i havent played trainz since i reinstalled it

I've noticed also that sometimes in Surveyor things look a bit different. The lighting. Then I check the clock, and realize that it's afternoon.
I've never had the sun go completely down on me while in Surveyor though. Now I've somehow got the clock stopped, so it's always about 10:00am. I'm not really sure what I did to make that happen, but surely it must have been something in the World settings.
Next time I go back into Surveyor, I'll check it out, and get back to you.

Nice thing about moving the clock is that you can see the lights come on in buildings that have a night mode. It looks really cool!
