Win 7 has a habit of locking files it thinks are open and nothing will delete them. I tried a program called 'LockHunter', which does the job but also loads a heap of viruses (virii?).

Be warned.

Try "Unlocker" by Cedric something-or-other. I understand the newest version contain spyware/adware too like most other stuff nowadays, but you have the option of not installing them.

1) Be careful of the malware of course and...

2) You should realize that files are usually locked for a reason such as if Content Manager has files in use while you try to delete the files in the open for edit state. This and the many. many OS and temp files that are left around.
