Do Moderators make Content?

I had been thinking about this for some time today: Do moderators also make content? It came to mind because I haven't seen any content with has a username that I reconize as that user being a moderator also. However, if they do, do they make them under a different username?

I presumes you're talking about the moderators of this forum, and I further presume that you're talking about content for public release. I know of one who user who at least has moderator privileges, if not the title, but the user name used for the content he creates is not the user name under which he exercises moderator privileges. I suspect there are others, but I've not made the connection between their moderator and content creator personas.

I don't believe it's my place to publicise the one connection I know of; I'll leave that to the moderator / administrator to do for him or herself.

You're probably thinking of the same one I am..... It is actually pretty public knowledge who he is. Beyond him, I can think of one or two that are straight out of N3V, and creating the game itself is pretty much creating content, whether it is as a programmer or administrator. There is a lot more to content creation than modeling/painting.

All of the Moderators listed below have content on the DLS. All these content creators and Moderators are Natvander, Zec Murphy, Boco, Lost_Soul, AJ_Fox, Tony_Hilliam and Rob but there might be more Moderators in the foreign languages forums here who could be content creators. A search of the DLS would have found all above names, as I just did looking for these.

Yes that's what I mean. For content, I mean placing their creations on the DLS. The reason for this post was because I saw a user whose name is Zec, and one of the moderators is ZecMurphy. I figured that it might be the same person, just using one for posting content they made and the other as a moderator. Coincidence? I don't know for certain.

ZecMurphy and the S301 Zec are one and the same person, just one is his administrative username.

That's what I thought. I was also wondering if there are any others, and that one of the moderators could answer my question and see if they can, you know, give us some 'inside info' about what's planned for the Trainzseries. I got a cousin who works at a theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee named after a country-music-celebrity-who-was-born-nearby. If you live in the south, you probably have gone to this theme park at least once in your life. He's the family's 'insider' and tells us what the plans are for the future of the theme park. I'm not giving out any info about what's planned there.

Just like you aren't giving out any "insider" information about the theme park, it would be wrong (and a breach of contract, because they would certainly be under a Non Disclosure Agreement) for them to give us any info. Remember, these forums are quite public.

This thread was started because I was thinking about this and I just had to get it out of my head so that I wouldn't be thinking about it all the time. I do believe that there are some other threads that was started for the same reason.

WHile I suspect a number of the employees may have moderator privileges, I'm not sure all of the moderators are employees of N3V.

Some of the moderators are not Employees of N3V but I know of at least one of the MIA Mods once worked for Auran (Contracting Content Production)

I know ZecMurphy, Bloodnok (obviously) AJ_Fox, Natvander, and Rob (under his Username on the DLS and official Auran DLC) have released things, under their usernames or another one
