The DLS search tools are identical whether or not you have a First Class Ticket aren't they?
Depends on if you have a supported version or not. If you don't have TS12 or TS:Mac/TS2:Mac, then you need a FCT to browse the DLS these days.
For Peter, as above, are you using Content Manager or the Download Station website?
If the website, then the search functions are essentially the same as the old TRS2004 website. As are the search options.
If using Content Manager, then you have a lot of search power at your hands, but you it takes a little fiddling to enter what you want. We recommend using CM for all DLS searches, but it's still your choice as to which way you go.
To use CM to search the DLS, first load Content Manager. Now click on the tab marked 'Download Station'. This will show a full listing of the content on the DLS.
Now, open the 'search' panel on the left, then click on the '+' button to add a new search filter (there should already be one marked 'an download station' = 'true', and another marked 'installed' = 'false' - note, prior to TS12 SP1 it will just be 'on download station' = 'true'). Now select the 'category' option in the left hand box, and select 'train bogey' in the right hand box. If you click on apply now, you will see all 'bogey' assets that are available on the download station.
Next, you can either add a 'keyword' into the box at the very top of the search panel, or you can add another filter, then select the 'name' filter in the left hand box, and enter the name of the bogie(s) you want into the right hand box. Once you are done, click on 'apply', and it will show you the results of the search filter (in this case, all 'bogey' assets on the DLS matching the keyword or name that you entered).
There are a lot of different filters available, however some may not work on DLS uploads (the missing dependencies, faulty, faulty dependencies, and a few others).
