TrainzDiag troubleshooter
Hi I have a weird problem with TRS209 on my PC
The problem I have is with my PC for some reason every time I download or extract CDPs when I look at them in Rail yard or Surveyor it displays them strangely.
All the colours are wrong and they look like a rainbow effect.
MY main Pc windows 7 home premium
service pack 1
processor intel(R)CORE(TM)i7-3770k cpu @ 3.50GHz
memory16.gb
system type 64-bit operating system
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
TRS2009 build 41844

I am attaching two screen shots to show you what I mean Loco 1 is what the loco looks like on my main Pc
Loco two is what it should look like from my Laptop which also has TRS2009 installed with the same build 41844 the lap top is running Vista
Does any one know why I am getting this weird display problem ?
The built in items display normaly

Yes, it's a known problem.

Go to Shane's tutorials here:

http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/

and check out the "Black/Multicolor Issue". This fixes it, had the same problem myself a while ago.

Thanks providing you follow the instructions it does work however you do have to delete the files you previously downloaded and re download them, then once extracted it then displays correctly.
If you just leave the files in that you originally downloaded it does not work and still displays strangly

Display Problems

Sorry to jump into this so late but I am having the same issue as robin_hoods. It's a display issue that began a couple months ago. I went to Shane's tutorial but don't have the same Content Manager he does. In other words, there's no box to "Enable Hardware Accelerated Texture Compression." Anyone have any idea's what I should do to correct the problem??

Thanks,

cma

Which version (including build) are you using?
