Disappearing trains

i just remembered that when I downloaded things yesterday those 2 couplers went on the list and were downloaded.

I've lost the plot at this end, dont download the :15205 bcne rotary gon, it's defo not in 2006 CMP. I dont know how it's in yours though.
 
It must be because of the updated couplers because I just looked into a couple budweiser boxcar that aren`t working now and they have updated bogies now. I searched for the kuid without the 2 in front and 1 at the end and came up with the original already on my computer just like the couplers.

just d/ld both the gondolas into 2010 and both old kuids 50020/1 are in the config file, but if i select show deps the new ones are in the list, I've opened both for edit and commited again and they're showing no errors, nothing. I suppose if one version is in the config kuid table (the older) CM's happy.
 
Try deleting/disabling the newer kuids in CMP, according to my logic ( whats left) the assets may revert to using the older ones.:'(
 
I tried both thinking the same thing but it didn`t work. I fixed one of the boxcars and got it on a track, thats the good news. The bad news is it`s gonna take me some time to fix them all one by one. I had to find the old bogie for the boxcar and clone it,then put the kuid# for the cloned one in the config file. If you delete the new ones and go into the dependency list it still lists the new ones but shows it as being on the DS. It`s like even though it`s not there the programming for the railcar still looks for it. Just out of curiosity what game is build 3.3? My 2009 is at 2.9 but I think I only have sp1 on it.

3.3 is 2010. I know it says bogie in the config but it's really the coupler.

A suggestion before I go, once you have them working, select all the deps r/click select all and make a CDP. Name the cdp so you know what's what and save all in a folder.
Just in case.
 
Just got the dash9 working and another railcar. All of CNR`s railcars I have got the couplers and bogies updated. Got everything cloned now just gotta change the kuid`s. Thank you so much for your help. I was feeling like it was pointless for me to play trainz if I couldn`t use those trains.
 
Another thing to beware of from we've learned tonight is dont download an updated version, the bogeys and the couplers have been the problem mostly.
With the kuid 2 in front they've been updated and from your experience affect other assets.

Yeah I thought of that. From now on I`ll check the dependencies on the download list for updated ones and remove them from the list. I don`t plan on downloading any more rolling stock anyways, I think I`ve got all the ones I want or need. Thanks again for your help.
