Hi there,metalmickey1 again. This my be a funny question; When I am playing trainz,my wife is on other side of table, and we both listen to music, but the trainz sound is also coming through, I have scowered the manual for a sound tab,(there appears a key for everthing else!) Is there such a key, or am I stuck(I don`t make it easy for you guys) the help I had with other problems was a great help. Thanks for reading this!!

Weird game, they didn't get around to adding any kind of volume control until TS12. Best bet is to mute your desktop speakers, or buy a set of headphones to plug in with an adjustable volume control on the headphones.

Software control, click Start, Control Panel. In the control panel scroll down to "Sounds and Audio", there's an option to create a shortcut, or you can adjust the various volumes just by opening it.

if you are running windows 7 you can turn down trainz, you will have to use the volume control..... i use it all teh time when i run skype on this computer

Thanks for the feed back

I would have thought the volume control would have come in sooner, but I can see that the sounds of the trains and industry is part and parcel to a great game, but thanks again for time to repley( have you time to read anymore of my questions?) Only kidding, the fun part is to sus it out for ones self.;) :hehe:

Until I loaded TS12, I would play the sounds out of my headphones, but not put them on. The sounds were loud enough for me to hear, but soft enough not to annoy others around me.

Although.... Being able to annoy the others around me can be a good thing, sometimes.
